The Kids Business Carnival (KBC) is a one-of-a-kind platform launched to encourage young minds to think like entrepreneurs! Introduced for the first time at the January 17th Edition of Hyderabad Kids Fair, this initiative was a massive success witnessing enthusiastic participation from creative and confident young entrepreneurs. This December, we’re bringing it back, bigger and better!

The Kids Business Carnival is a unique platform for children aged between 6-16 to experience entrepreneurship first hand. Participants can set up stalls, showcase, and sell products they have created, such as crafts, artwork, toys, books, and more. The event, co-located with the Hyderabad Kids Fair 2025, aims to foster creativity, business skills, and financial literacy among young minds in a fun and supportive environment.
Children between the ages of 6 and 16 are eligible to participate. They will need to have a parent or guardian present for supervision, but the focus is on allowing the kids to take the lead in running their stalls and interacting with customers.

Participants can sell a variety of handmade products such as:
• Crafts
• Artwork
• Toys & Games
• Jewellery
• Books, Comics, and Stationery
• Other creative items made by the children
Products must be made or assembled by the participants themselves to qualify for the carnival.
Yes, there is. As there are only limited stalls available, each application will be put through the below process
before confirmation of the stall to the applicant
Initial Review: All submitted applications will be reviewed based on the product they intend to sell.
Shortlisting: Shortlisted participants will be notified via email and phone, and may be required to make their
payment.
Yes. There is a nominal fee of ₹ 1,180/- (Inclusive Taxes). This is to reserve the applicant’s spot at the carnival and hold them accountable to attend as stalls are limited. This includes entry to one Child and One Adult on the day of the event. For additional entry, please visit www.hydkidsfair.com to buy the tickets.
Yes, the children are encouraged to manage their own stalls, interact with customers, and handle sales transactions. Parents or guardians must be present to supervise, but the children should take the lead in their
business activities to gain a true entrepreneurial experience.
Each stall will be 2m x 2m (6.5 feet x 6.5 feet) in size and will include:
• 1 table
• 2 Chairs
• Basic lighting
• One waste basket

Yes, schools are encouraged to promote participation among their students.

The event is designed to empower kids, helping them gain confidence, learn responsibility, and understand the basics of running a business
We prioritize the safety of all participants. Measures include:
• Security personnel stationed throughout the venue
• Child-friendly arrangements at the stalls
• First-aid services on-site
• Mandatory adult supervision: Every participating child must be accompanied by a parent or guardian at
all times.
The Kids Business Carnival will run for one day (On Saturday, the 1st of February 2025) as part of the larger Hyderabad Kids Fair 2025.

Yes, there will be food stalls and refreshment stalls at the venue for participants, parents, and visitors which they can use on paid basis. You are also welcome to bring your own snacks and water.
