Terms & Conditions

The following terms and conditions govern participation in the Kids Business Carnival, scheduled to take place on 1st February 2025 along with Hyderabad Kids Fair at HITEX, Hyderabad.
Eligibility:
Age Requirement: Children between 6-16 years are eligible to participate. All participants must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
Supervision: Parents/guardians are encouraged to supervise but must allow the child to take the lead in managing the stall.
Stall Allocation Process and Usage:
• As there are only limited stalls available, each application will be put through a selection process before confirmation of the stall to the applicant. If selected, the applicant shall be notified via email and phone to make their payment.
Stall Space: Each participant will be provided with a 2m x 2m stall, along with basic furniture (table and chair) and branding materials.
Products for Sale: Only handmade crafts, artwork, toys, jewellery, books, and other items crafted by the participants are allowed for sale.
Stall Display: Stall decorations should be family-friendly and must not include any offensive or harmful content.
Food and Beverages: Selling food or beverages of any kind is strictly prohibited.
Do’s:
• Ensure that products on sale are made by the participant.
• Actively engage with customers in a polite and respectful manner.
• Keep the stall clean and organized at all times.
• Be present at the stall during the entire event time (11 AM – 7 PM).
Don’ts:
• Do not sell pre-manufactured or third-party products.
• Avoid loud or disruptive behaviour that may interfere with neighbouring stalls.
• Do not involve in fraudulent activities or mislead customers about product details.
Payment and Sales:
Sales Responsibility: Participants are responsible for managing their own sales and money handling. Parents can assist
but should not take over the business transaction process.
Receipts: It is recommended to provide receipts for purchases made.
Cancellation and Refunds:
Cancellation by Participant: Participants who wish to cancel their participation must notify the event organizers at least 7 days before the event. Failure to do so may result in disqualification from future events.
Refund: Once confirmed and the payment is done, there won’t be any refund of the payment made.
Event Cancellation: In case the event is cancelled or rescheduled due to unforeseen circumstances, the organizers will inform all participants at the earliest convenience. No compensation or refund will be provided for non-financial losses.
Health and Safety:
Safety Compliance: All participants are expected to comply with the safety measures implemented by the event organizers, including fire safety regulations and emergency protocols.
• First Aid: A first-aid booth will be available during the event for emergencies.
Code of Conduct:
• All participants are expected to maintain a friendly and inclusive environment.
• Any form of discrimination, harassment, or inappropriate behaviour will not be tolerated and may result in disqualification.
Liability:
• Organizers’ Liability: HITEX and event organizers are not responsible for any loss, theft, or damage to products, stalls, or
personal belongings.
• Participant Liability: Participants are liable for any damage caused to the venue or neighbouring stalls due to negligence
or inappropriate conduct.
